For dinner. was delicious.
2/14/20 Valentine's dinner for two. Waitstaff was TOP NOTCH, extremely watchful, attentive and not overly asking if everything was ok which was nice as it was wifey and husband time. Got the Valentine's 5 course dinner for two $220 Food: Appetizers, salad, extremely small portions but tasty, enough for a mouse... Soup was fantastic, perfect portion. Main course was unfortunately underwhelming. Steak was tasty, fish was rubbery and bland. They dropped one 9oz steak and fish in one skillet which we had to split ?♂️ they should have cut it in half and placed it on separate plates instead of us having to cut it ourselves and drip on the table while distributing the portions to each other. This was probably the most disappointing presentation of a main course or meal to be honest. Dessert was partially melted when it arrived, it was very tasty but the melted ice cream was also a disappointing presentation. Overall I would think twice before coming back.
It was a very long time dinner. It was good to have a reservation. I enjoyed Fiorentina (T-bone steak) while enjoying the red of my favorite Italian wine Antinori. Garnish is asparagus, red potato and mashed potato. Primo's squid shrimp sauce pasta was also very delicious. We had pizza of younger brother's ham and had a good meal. The roast of the mother's sheep has no finger ball but has been covered (sweat). It is hard to make a reservation, but I definitely want to eat again.
Always spot on!! Menu changes, but still awesome!!
Comfortable. Pricy. Great service. Great food. Did not know this place existed. The restaurant is quiet small in comparison to their other restaurants on property with lots of intimate couple seating near the garden/pool view. This establishment is a semi fine dining restaurant with no strict attire requirements to eat here. The server greeted and seated us quickly without a reservation on a Friday night during the holidays. The menu has some good offerings and the servers can recommend a nice wine pairing to go with your entire. We opted for a Quattro cheese pizza for an appetizer and it is amazing...not your usual cheese pizza and comes with a side of honey to drizzle on top. It may sound weird but it's a delicious match. As the name suggests, their pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and was very tasty. My thick tenderloin steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and did not disappoint. While the pizza and entree's were delicious, their bread service was lacking and is nothing to brag about. Simple bread with simple olive oil and vinaigrette sauce...wasn't terrible but wasn't great. The service was great overall with the kitchen staff coming out to visit diners and check on the food. The wine selection is decent and the staff are also knowledgeable of the differences between the wines they offer. The prices of the items are quite high, but warranted as the overall experience justified the cost. Lastly, if you or another member of your party has vision problems, this may not be the place to come as it is very dim with a single candle per table and is hard to see and read the menu.
It's nice and kind.
We walked from the Westin twice in one week to dine at Al Dente. The atmosphere is calm, fresh + friendly & professional staff. The cheese pizza with scrumptious side dip was my absolute fave. (One of the best pizza's I've ever had.) The pasta is fresh, creamy, tasty & light. I am not much of a meat eater so I can't comment on that so much, but my BF had steak & I would just say that I am happier eating my pasta pizza and soup. I thoroughly enjoyed their creamy flavourful mushroom pottage. One other day I had a lovely broccolini soup. They have an extensive wine selection. (We ordered the Wente.) Everything here is great. The manager gave us a discount even though we forgot our members card. Staff were all very kind & good to us. Nice to see some smiles. Love to return. Highly recommend. ps. Reservations usually required & the restaurant is child friendly. Enjoy.
Visit with mom at evening time. I had a spaghetti with meatballs (like parapalda), but I had a margherita pizza and it tasted pretty good. I was very happy because my mom was very good at Korean food. I am impressed by the young white male staff. Slowly explain in detail, take a picture with my mom ... I know it's a service charge, but it's cute, so I grab a few extra tips. The person who looks like a manager is also given tiramisu service and keeps taking care of whether it is okay or inconvenient. I wrapped it up because I packed it ...! Five stars left for good memories during the trip.
The atmosphere of the store was good and the food was delicious.
Great food and great ambience. Service was good too and very attentive!
If you are not good at English, you should not expect good hospitality. The $ 45 per Fresco menu seems to be a decent price.
Ask for the free cheesy bread and side of creamy pesto and/ or French bread and balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Personal favorites: Duck Salad - with candied walnuts and crunchy dried apples Mushroom soup with truffle oil Ribeye and mushrooms Get the PHR membership ($350) and get 20% off your bill. Plus it comes with 12 drink vouchers (wine, 3 beer, 3 soda), use one voucher here and save an easy $35 on a bottle of wine. Other perks of membership: 3 hotel rooms. It pays for itself!
Awesome place!
I think it is the best Italian restaurant in Guam. We had a delicious course in a fine atmosphere, and the wine was also great.
It tastes good
Magical and best dinning
Ambience is excellent.
Very good italian food .. you should go try it out
Really good food especially mother's day buffet
A fine dining restaurant that is not often eaten in Guam. This is a house that is filled with juicy steak and Napa Valley wine in the pasta and truffle mushroom soup with Kalla Marie appetizer and truffle oil. Disadvantages of few food types. The taste is about half, so the person who eats it is a little sullen. Reservations are required.
The worst service on my honeymoon I have a strong climate that ignores Koreans. It is a very unpleasant feeling.
Pizza was particularly delicious. The atmosphere is also good.
It is restaurant in Hyatt hotel The steak ice is really good ~
Realy good. Pasta was a little under cooked.
T-bone steak tasted okay
Good italian food..
It is neat and has a good atmosphere. Food tastes similar to hotels
Our favorite place for fine dinning
Great service and excellent food! Steak was very good and affordable delicious wines too.
The worst restaurant server is very rude and unkind. I only have good memories of my trip, but I know the only bad memories. The steak is also tough and tasteless.
This is the second time I came here, the first time being a week ago. The first time the Reginette Nere or squid ink pasta was amazing! This time it was overcooked and mushy. This is a Italian restaurant, and the name of the restaurant is Al Dente, you would assume they know how to cook their pasta. The tiramisu looked great the first time so I ordered it tonight. Sadly, instead of a light dusting of cocoa powder they put a thick layer on top and basically ruined what promised to be really good tiramisu. After talking to the waitress, there is no executive chef currently working there. Apparently the sous chefs are also new and so the food is really hit or miss. When we tried to talk to the manager, he was at another restaurant and had to come clear across the hotel to us. I know they can be really good, as it was the first time, but this time was a big disappointment. 26 Dec 2017
This place was very good. My husbands favorite place on island. I had pasta I forget the name of the dish but it has a cream like sauce. Delicious!! My husband had the meat and chese app and the Papsardelle dish. This is a must check out spot! Prices not bad either.
Good place to spend a time with friends and family, delicious Italian menu, fresh pasta, good pizza and fabulous big fiorentina T-bone stake...
The pasta was delicious, but the steak was usually a bit salty. Expensive compared to quality
Nice food. But, too late to eat. I guess it may because there are so many people.
I can definitely cook better than this. Buffalo Mozzarella did taste like cow Mozzarella. Tagliolini was actually like overcooked Asian noodle.
Poor service. My own cooked pasta is better than here I guess Angus steak is not bad but not as price
Best place for Italian restaurant on Guam... great foods and service...
I think it's the best food in Guam! I have visited many times, but there is no less departure from Proa and now Hides. However, you may not be able to enjoy it if you do not have enough time! It is slow to come out, so if you are with small children, do you need to be careful about the menu?
We made a reservation on the day of arrival to relax in the room, but the atmosphere was good and delicious.
The ambiance & view is great. The food is moderate :(
The most satisfying restaurant I had ever visited in Guam, Since it's a restaurant in the hotel, the atmosphere and food are very luxurious, The steak was very delicious and I had some ink pasta and I thought it was delicious, I don't know if he's a shop owner or singer, but someone sang a karaoke machine. If there is a flaw, the price is very expensive.
It was not busy and the service was so bad. The food was just ok.
